CPAT Welsh Language Scheme Consultation

We'd like to invite the public to take part in a consultation on our brand new Welsh Language Scheme. The consultation will last for four weeks ending on 15 September 2014.

In order to respect of the language choices of our service users, The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business in Wales, it will treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality. The scheme sets out how we will give effect to that principle when providing services to the public.

The voluntary scheme has been prepared in accordance with guidance from the Welsh Language Commissioner under the Welsh Language Act 1993, and it is hoped it will be formally approved by the Welsh Language Commissioner following the consultation process.
