Age Concern Montgomeryshire – Llandrinio
The final presentation to Age Concern groups this year was made at Llandrinio Community Centre on the 17th March. Slides showing typical mid-Wales
archaeological sites were displayed including some of Offa’s Dyke and motte and bailey castles. Also popular was the up-to-date information about recent
work in Welshpool on the old Smithfield site where further evidence of a Roman burial unearthed in the 1950s was being sought.
