Age Concern Montgomeryshire – Llandinam
A small but enthusiastic group met at the lovely Arts & Crafts styled Llandinam Institute on March 3rd for a talk with slides about the typical types of
archaeological site to be seen in Montgomeryshire and some of the excavation projects that the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust have recently undertaken.
Of particular interest to those attending was information about work on the Roman road in Newtown and excavation at the old Smithfield site in Welshpool.
