University of the Third Age visit to Beacon Ring Hillfort
At the beginning of April CPAT staff joined the Earth Sciences Group of Welshpool’s U3A branch at Beacon Ring hill-fort near Welshpool. The group were
enjoying a ramble on part of Offa’s Dyke Path and invited Trust staff to meet them at Beacon Ring, owned by CPAT. Jeff Spencer and Michelle Bithell spoke
to the group about the monument and informed them of our future plans for it. On a beautiful, bright afternoon the views across north Wales to the Cheshire
