Buildings at Meifod
There was a good turnout on the 18th November at Meifod Village Hall by members of the Meifod Local History Society to hear a talk by Nigel Jones on historic buildings. The talk focused on a number of local buildings including the farm complex at Ystum Colwyn and the medieval hall houses at Ty Draw and Tyddyn Llwydion, near Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. As well as looking at timber buildings the evening finished with a selection of industrial buildings, including the Machynlleth Tannery and Roundhouse Farm, Nantyglo.
