Medieval Settlement Research Group
Bob Silvester of CPAT presented a paper to one of the four regional POMLAS (Perceptions of Medieval and
Later Settlement) seminars as part of the Medieval Settlement Research Group's conference in Exeter on the 6th July. The paper focussed on medieval rural settlement in Wales, and looked at the various strands of evidence gathered by the Trust as part of its Deserted Rural Settlement project - a long-term Cadw funded project carried out across the whole of Wales by the four Welsh Archaeological Trusts.
