Historic Forests in an Oxford College
A dozen dedicated professionals saw Bob Silvester present a lecture on medieval forests - their location, extent and physical remains - in the Welsh Marches from Cheshire and Flintshire in the north to Monmouthshire in the south. The occasion was the session on forests at the prestigeous Historic Forests Seminar at St John's College, Oxford on 14 March.
