Photographs of character area

CPAT PHOTO 05-C-51 Llangorse crannog, the artificial island also known as Ynys Bwlc near the northern shore of Llangorse Lake. Historical and archaeological evidence suggests that the crannog, about 40 metres by 30 metres across, was a royal residence of the kings of Brycheiniog in the 9-10th centuries. Photo: CPAT 05-C-51.
