Roman bath house, mausoleum, possible villa and metal-working site. Excavation of 1783 revealed complex bath hiouse with at least 12 rooms with mosaic tile and "cement" floors (over hypocausts in two) including a warm bath, 2 cold baths with intermediate and connecting rooms. Llanymynech Ogof Mine, Carreghofa , Powys

Roman mining augmenting natural cave, and overlain by series of later mines. Open pits outside the cave mouth were filled with "deads" after the extraction of the copper ore. Numerous Roman finds (including burials) (CPAT SMR PRN 19261)
