Gibbet site. Rock cut ditch 17.0m diameter, 2.0m wide, 0.3m deep and inner bank 0.1m high. The central mound is 2.5m diameter and 0.1m high. It was excavated in 1938 (W. Richards) who found a central post hole, gibbeting irons and skull. Dated to circa 1700. Was formerly noted as a possible barrow.

At 460mOD and known locally as 'Gallows Top'. The central mound maybe the result of excavation. Excavation by Peate confirmed its use as a gibbet. There was a centrally placed post-hole, manacle, gibbetting irons and human skull. The site is now turf-covered with no evidence for a ditch (Cadw 1998).
