PRN 18623 (part of 18591 ) - Pen Dylife Mine Hushing Channel I

Prefered site type :- 17th century ? - Hushing channel (Earthwork - Damaged )

Pre 17th/18th. Substantial hushing channel running roughly W-E until it meets the main line of shafts, where it turns S. Water appears to have been gathered from an area of open morrland and collected along the boundary bank PRN 18614, before cutting through the bank and downslope. A possible pond 18662 lies mid-way along the channel.
