PRN 48255 - Pen-y-ffridd, farmstead

Prefered site type :- Medieval ? - Farmstead (Building - Near destroyed )

A farmstead named as Pen-y-ffridd shown on the OS 6" 1891 map but missing on the OS 6" 1963 map.

A destroyed farmstead but there are the remains of some banks, 20m long 3m wide and 1.5m high. These banks could be grass covered walls. There is also a totally flat area next to the track which may be a building platform. (CPAT Tir Gofal assessment, 2003)
