APPARENT STONE CIRCLE. 5 STONES REMAINING. PROB ORIG 21M DIA. SUPPOSED STONE HOLES ON ROUGH CIRCUMFERENCE NOTED BY Grimes, W F, 1963; OS, 1978. WHOLE POSS MODERN CREATION (RCAHM, 1911). PLANS BY Grimes, W F, 1963; RCAHM, 1911; OS, 1978; Spicer, R D, 1979 ALL DIFFER MARKEDLY.

FIVE SMALL STONES WITH OUTLIER TO SE. SEVERAL HOLLOWS MAY HAVE ORIGINALLY CONTAINED STONES. PLAN FITS AN ELIPSE OR A FLATTENED CIRCLE. PLAN. (HOYLE, J.R., 1984, 53, FIG.5).

Two smaller outliers are visible immediately to the NW of the circle. Agricultural work in the field will have destroyed any other features that may have existed. Maximum diameter of the circle is 26m. Two of the stones are loose (Cadw 1998).
