PRN 80087 - Fawnog-fawr building

NGR :- SH9556601769 (SH90SE)
Unitary authority :- Powys
Community :- Llanbrynmair
Prefered site type :- Post Medieval - Barn ? (Structure - Unknown )

Field barn (or possible long hut) built on contour-following terrace. Rubblestone walls suggest structure about 10m by 5m, and collapsed material suggests gable. Appended to enclosure bank of characteristic earth and stone form. Its omission from the 1:2500 OS map of 1887 may be an oversight, rather than an indicator that it had not bee built at that time. (CPAT Tir Gofal assessment 1999)
