2-storey red brick stables with slate roof. On the SE face there is a single door at gound level with a window on the north side. There is a full-size door at the 1st floor level in the gable. The structure has been re-roofed and the gable re-built.
The stable has been built up against the green sandstone Canal Company boundary wall on the NW side (Frost, P, 1998).
