Wallside

Wallside lies in the community of Brynford in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ17307550. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 104134 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Lead/Silver (1893-1913)

Geology
Carboniferous Limestone.

Workings
The sett appears to have worked the area around the Coetia-Butler Quarry. Workings run northwards from the quarry towards the Grange in an area that has been continuously mined since the 18th century.
