Tan-y-Foel

Tan-y-Foel lies in the community of Halkyn in the county of Flintshire. It is located at Ordnance Survey national grid reference SJ19207010. The mine is recorded in the CPAT Historic Environment Record as number 18204 and this number should be quoted in all correspondence.

Geology
Carboniferous Limestone.

Workings
Several shafts appear on either side of the road from Moel-y-crio to Rhes-y-cae, being generally to the south-east of Tan-y-foel (SJ19007035). They lie to the west of the New Westminster sett.
