Brecknockshire Historic Settlements


In 1992, the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust compiled an assessment of the historic settlements of northern Brecknock on behalf of Cadw and the Brecknock Borough Council. It was one of the earliest such assessments for north east and eastern Wales and ultimately ten such reports were completed between 1992 and 1995, embracing all of CPAT's area.

By 2010 it was clear that that suvey was rapidly dating and so a new survey has been undertaken, with funding from Cadw, to attempt to update the original.
